Having trouble sending WhatsApp messages from your Elementor form via Acele?
This guide walks you through the most common issues and fixes to help ensure your WhatsApp automation runs smoothly.

❌ Issue 1: WhatsApp Message Not Sent After Form Submission

Symptoms:

  • Elementor form submits successfully.
  • No WhatsApp message is received by the user.
  • No logs or delivery info inside Acele.

Fix:

  1. Verify the Webhook URL:
    • Go to:
Elementor → Edit Form → Actions After Submit → Webhook
    • Make sure you’ve pasted the correct Webhook URL from Acele.
  2. Confirm Webhook Workflow Setup in Acele:
    • Navigate to:
Acele Dashboard → WhatsApp → Webhook Workflow
    • Ensure the correct WhatsApp template is selected.
    • Confirm the phone number field is mapped correctly.
  3. Check WhatsApp Template Approval:
    • Go to:
Acele → WhatsApp → Template Manager
    • Ensure the template is approved and marked as active.

❌ Issue 2: WhatsApp Message Shows Empty Fields (Blank Variables)

Symptoms:

  • Message is delivered but contains empty placeholders like:
"Hi , thanks for reaching out!"

Fix:

  1. Field Mapping Mismatch:
    • Make sure Elementor form field names match your template variables (e.g., {{name}}, {{email}}).
  2. Remap Fields in Acele:
    • Go to:
Webhook Workflow → Edit Workflow → Field Mapping
    • Submit a test form and capture sample data.
    • Use dropdowns to map each form field correctly to its corresponding template variable.

❌ Issue 3: Message Sent to Wrong Number or Not Delivered

Symptoms:

  • Message is not delivered to user.
  • Status in WhatsApp Business logs shows Failed.

Fix:

  1. Check Phone Number Format:
    • Always use international format (e.g., 919812345678)
    • Do not include + symbol.
    • Remove spaces, brackets, or special characters.
  2. Add Input Validation in Elementor:
    • Use field type “Tel” with a placeholder (e.g., e.g., 919812345678)
    • Consider using plugins like Elementor Tel Input Mask for formatted input.

❌ Issue 4: Webhook Not Triggering

Symptoms:

  • No data appears in Acele Webhook logs.
  • WhatsApp message not triggered at all.

Fix:

  1. Ensure Webhook Is Added to Form Actions:
    • Go to:
Elementor → Edit Form → Actions After Submit
    • Make sure “Webhook” is added as an action.
  2. Republish Your Page:
    • After adding webhook settings, click “Update” or “Publish” the page.
  3. Check Browser Console for Errors:
    • Open browser DevTools (Press F12) → Console.
    • Submit the form and check for any JavaScript conflicts or errors.

❌ Issue 5: Delay in WhatsApp Flow Not Working

Symptoms:

  • WhatsApp message or flow is delivered instantly, despite a delay being configured.

Fix:

  1. Delay must be set inside Acele Bot Flow:
    • Go to:
      Bot Manager → Bot Flow
    • Drag and place a “Delay” block before the message block.
  2. Use Proper Time Format:
    • Delay must be entered in seconds or minutes.
    • Example: 30 seconds, 2 minutes (as numeric values).
